Step back into the 19th century during Harvest Days, an annual event at the LSU Rural Life Museum. Explore the historic village as skilled artisans, musicians, and living history interpreters demonstrate traditional rural Louisiana activities, including blacksmithing, open-hearth cooking, woodworking, spinning, soap making, and quill pen writing. Enjoy live folk music and dancing, historic games, tractor rides through the museum grounds, artisan demonstrations, and food available throughout the weekend. Homemade cracklins, cane syrup, and kettle corn will be made on-site. Tickets may be purchased in advance through the website or at the door. Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
