East Baton Rouge Parish voters can hear directly from School Board candidates during a public forum Wednesday, October 7, at the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry’s Lane Grigsby Conference Center.
The free event begins with networking at 5:30 p.m., followed by the candidate forum at 6:30 p.m. Organizers say candidates from contested School Board races have been invited to discuss their priorities for local students, families, educators and schools.
The forum gives residents an opportunity to compare candidates and learn more about the issues facing the parish school system before voting. Admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to register in advance.
