The Great Pumpkin Dash is set for Saturday, November 7, from 8 AM to 1 PM at Sharon Hills Park’s Hooper Trails, giving Baton Rouge runners a fall trail event with scenic woods, pumpkin-themed mile markers and a full morning built around the outdoors. The race is open to participants ages 8 and older.
The course covers 4 miles on the trails, and top finishers can compete for prizes while every participant receives a medal to mark the day.
Between the autumn setting, the off-road route and the post-race treat included for runners, this one offers more than a standard road race. It is a fun pick for active families, trail runners and anyone ready for a seasonal challenge with a little extra Baton Rouge fall flavor.
