LSU women’s basketball opens its 2026-27 exhibition slate at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 22, against UNT Dallas at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge. The in-town matchup gives fans an early chance to see the Tigers back on the floor before the regular season begins.
LSU’s official schedule lists the game as an exhibition and notes that it will be available on SEC Network+. The athletics site also labels the event as “Geaux Free,” confirming that the exhibition is free to attend.
That combination should make this one especially attractive for local sports fans, students and families looking for a low-cost night out. It is a simple way to catch high-level college basketball in person, settle back into the PMAC atmosphere and get a first look at LSU before the season starts to count.
