Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra is taking classical music outdoors Friday, October 9, for Bachtoberfest on the front lawn of the Main Library at Goodwood. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
Maestro David Torns will conduct a program featuring Bach, Telemann and Vivaldi, with guitarist Nick Ciraldo appearing as soloist. Guests may bring their own picnic and beverages, while food will also be available for purchase.
The family-friendly concert offers first-come, first-served seating, with blankets and lawn chairs welcome. Regular admission is $40, and tickets for children and students are $20.
