Prom Macabre brings South Louisiana’s retro club scene back to Cary Saurage Community Arts Center in Baton Rouge on Friday, October 30, 2026. Doors open at 8:30 pm for an evening of dark dance music, costumes, and community.
DJ Prep spins deep cuts from the 80s, 90s, and 00s, including dark wave, breakbeat, techno, trance, and retro dance favorites. Sariah Storm & The Mysteries open with spooky witchy originals and dark covers. Guests can compete to be crowned Prom King or Queen.
The event is for ages 21 and up. Student and Artist tickets are $25, General Admission is $35, and Open Bar tickets are $50. All ticket tiers include party snacks and dance-floor access; the venue also offers a cash bar except for Open Bar ticket holders.
