Highland Road Community Park hosts the second Sundays in St. George on Sunday, October 18, from 2 to 6 p.m., bringing another free afternoon of music, art and neighborhood gathering to the park at 14024 Highland Road. Families, lawn-chair regulars and casual listeners can all settle in.
Parish County Line is a six-piece country band with Mississippi and Louisiana roots, built around frontman Derek Shipley and a lineup that leans into traditional country sound with modern energy and steel guitar.
The event is designed as more than a concert, pairing the live set with an arts market, food vendors and a relaxed open-air setting. It is an easy pick for anyone wanting a low-cost Sunday outing that still feels lively, local and distinctly rooted in the Capital Region.
