Cap City Beer Fest returns to downtown Baton Rouge on Sunday, November 1, from 2 to 5 PM, bringing an afternoon of craft beer sampling, food, live music and festival energy to Fourth Street between North Street and Spanish Town Road. VIP entry begins at 1 PM for early access.
This annual fundraiser supports Companion Animal Alliance, East Baton Rouge Parish’s open-intake animal shelter, giving the event a strong local mission alongside its tasting-focused downtown experience.
Guests can spend the afternoon sampling local, national and international beers, checking out homebrews, grabbing bites from food vendors and enjoying the festive crowd near the Capitol. It is a lively way to spend a fall Sunday downtown while helping support animal care in the Baton Rouge area.
Event Date: Sunday, November 1, 2026
